New Building Updates

Construction Progresses Smoothly!

On June 1st, Hilber’s construction began their work. Hilber’s will be responsible for laying out the forms and pouring the concrete for the foundation.

We expect to be able to occupy the building around July/August 2021.

We anticipate that LPC Members will have opportunity to serve in a variety of ways including praying for and providing refreshments for the workers. Other opportunities requiring specialized skills may also present themselves as work progresses, especially as we move into the finishing phase next year.

The project budget remains unchanged at $5.3 million and we are thankful that pledges are just over $5.1 million at this time. We are abundantly thankful as actual giving has been coming in higher than what people have pledged. The Lord continues to provide abundantly through the generosity of all of you. Please contact Alan Reiff with any questions about making or updating a pledge. Please ask us if you have any questions at all.

Our project has entered into a new phase!  The overall structure is basically completed per the blue prints.  The insulation, exterior "sheet rock", and stucco backing should be completed soon.  The outcome of the work from heron is more flexible and can be modified to meet our expectations.  So, the building team has begun to have a weekly walk-through/ to inspect the progress to gather information and provide input to the builders so that the work continues to progress as we intended.  These new photos show the insulation and sheet rock siding that has been installed on the upper portion of the building and the team starting its first inspection!!

Everything is progressing well.  Thank you for your continuing prayers for safety and good progress. Enjoy the pictures.

LPC Building Team

As a church, we want to be praying for each step of this project as it happens. Every part of the new building project, from the initial thought to our giving and design plans, has been covered in prayer, and construction is no different!

Praise

  • God allowed LPC to retain ownership of 1616 West St. property and continues to trust us to use it for His Glory.

  • God has provided knowledgeable and experienced people to guide us during the building.

  • God has blessed LPC members with the financial resources needed for the project and a willing and generous spirit to share them.

  • Steady progress is being made the project since we began in 2017.

Prayer

  • Safety of the workers and that construction goes as planned.

  • God will be glorified in all that we do.

  • Everyone on the job-site will work safely and be protected when accidents occur.

  • All the materials required to complete the building will be available and delivered on time.

  •  Help us to rejoice in all that God is doing through this building project at this time.

  • That God will continue to provide for His project through His people.
